Space Education Materials (hereinafter referred to as ‘Space Materials’) are materials which are produced by the Development Committee for Education Materials and others involved in JAXA Space Education Center and which are compiled with ideas of the related entities to JAXA's Space education activities and those of the Space Education Leaders all over Japan.

JAXA owns the copyright (or intellectual property rights) to all content on the Space Materials including text, diagrams, photographs, audio recordings and video images, except in cases where copyright is specifically attributed to another party.
The Space Materials are exploited without obtaining permission of JAXA primarily for purposes such as academic research, educational activities, and personal use (for example, printing out the materials and/or storing the same on a hard disc for the purpose of use in the course of lessons in a school or other educational institutions established for nonprofit-making or for the purpose of personal use or family use) within the scope permitted by Copyright Law.
