APRSAF Poster contestResults of APRSAF Poster contest
With the aim of nurturing children's imagination for the space and their interest in the space, science, and technology, the Space Education Working Group of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF) has held poster contests since 2006. JAXA Space Education Center, as a permanent co-chair of the Space Education Working Group, judges and selects posters to represent Japan, and also supports the exhibition in the host country.
The 15th contest was held as an online event for the first time with the theme of "Peace in Space." A total of 25 posters by children of ages 8-11 years from nine Asia-Pacific countries (China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam) were entered and winners of a Best Poster Award and two Special Poster Awards were selected by means of votes by APRSAF website visitors (3,598 votes). In addition to them, a winner of JAXA Award was selected by the JAXA President.
