APRSAF Poster contestResults of APRSAF Poster contest
With the aim of nurturing children's imagination for the space and their interest in the space, science, and technology, the Space Education for All Working Group of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF) has held poster contests since 2006. JAXA Space Education Center, as a permanent co-chair of the Space Education for All Working Group, judges and selects posters to represent Japan, and also supports the exhibition in the host country.
The 16th contest was held as an online event with the theme of "I am an astronaut." A total of 30 posters by children of ages 8-11 years from ten Asia-Pacific countries (Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam) were entered and winners of a Best Poster Award and two Special Poster Awards were selected by means of votes by APRSAF website visitors (1,087 votes). The votes of APRSAF27 registrants and non-registrants were weighted differently. The VNSC Award and the JAXA Award were selected by the presidents of VNSC and JAXA, respectively.
